Behaviour Support Assistant – High Needs SEN School

Salary: £95 – £120 per day
About the Role
Dedicated and resilient support in a specialist SEN school to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with complex additional needs within a highly supportive educational environment. The school is part of a Multi‑Academy Trust offering professional development and the opportunity to work across other schools within the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils throughout the school day.
- Build positive, trusting, and professional relationships with students.
- Support pupils to regulate their emotions using agreed behaviour strategies.
- Assist with classroom learning, communication, and life skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and senior leaders.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Support other schools within the Trust as required.

Previous experience within education is welcomed but is not essential. We encourage applications from candidates with backgrounds in Care and Support Work, Mental Health Services, Youth Work, Residential Childcare, Sports Coaching, Prison or Probation Services, Behaviour Support, and Healthcare.
Pay Information
Daily pay ranges from £95 to £120 per day, determined by relevant skills and experience, availability, and the specific responsibilities of the role.
