About the role:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high‑quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (specialism welcomed)

- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND students
- Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations
- Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and curriculum development

Pre‑requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in a Science‑related subject
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level (including placements for ECTs)
- Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculumExcellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
