Exam Invigilator – Sheffield

About the role

We are seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Sheffield during the upcoming exam periods, starting in June/July 2026 and continuing into the new academic year of September 2026. These flexible positions offer both part-time and full-time opportunities (3-6.5 hour working days), ideal for individuals looking to work within a school environment. The schools are known for their supportive leadership teams, inclusive environments, and commitment to maintaining high standards during examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students during examinations in line with exam board regulations
• Ensure exam conditions are maintained at all times
• Distribute and collect exam papers and materials efficiently
• Assist with setting up examination rooms before exams
• Report any incidents, irregularities or breaches of exam conditions
• Support students in a calm, professional and approachable manner

Pre-requisites

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to remain calm, attentive and professional under pressure
• Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable but not essential
• Two education or professional references
