Data Interrogation Team Member

Circa £21,536 dependent on skills & experience. Full Time, 37 hours per week. Permanent. Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, allowing you to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Training will be office based in Peterborough; once completed you will have the flexibility to work from home. Your base location will be Henderson House in Huntingdon.

Responsibilities

• Investigate accounts day‑to‑day within the void and debt recovery processes, ensuring accurate data is held to aid the collection of revenue from the correct people.
• Remain compliant with company procedures, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Use varied technologies to trace customers and update SAP to reflect changes.
• Employ appropriate tools to trace customers and contact methods available to boost contact efforts, using Lean approaches to continually improve and streamline working methods.
• Complete data entry and make decisions on appropriate action to take on accounts based on evidence found.

Qualifications

• Ability to be flexible and adapt to or work effectively in a variety of situations, individuals and be open to change.
• Ability to work with and support others within your own team, as well as other teams and departments.
• Adopt a “can‑do” attitude.
• Ability to plan and manage own time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a good telephone manner.
• Strong analytical skills and accuracy.
• Good IT skills, particularly Excel, with knowledge of SAP; Tallyman knowledge preferable.
