Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer to support operations at a global leader in film and television production. In this role you will ensure consistent, professional service delivery for door supervisors, support daily site requirements and manage the security environment during day, night and weekend shifts.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence – essential
  • Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good, effective relationships at all levels
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel)
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards

Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as per Corps and customer requirements
  • Ensure all visitors and contractors to the site are correctly briefed, sign in and out
  • Record the entry and exit of delivery whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures
  • Ensure patrols are carried out to the correct standards
  • Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours security provision if applicable
  • Familiarise yourself with assignment instructions, risk assessments and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations to improve
  • Maintain your own training records via Corps Colleague Portal so that your skills remain up‑to‑date, and keep your first aid and fire marshal training in accordance with legislative guidelines
  • Continuously apply your SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism. Your SIA licence must be always displayed
  • Perform ad hoc duties as directed
