Featherby Partnership Schools are seeking a committed Site Supervisor to help ensure our Infant and Junior school sites remain safe, secure and well‑maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.
Working closely with our Premises Manager and Regional Estates Manager, you will support the day‑to‑day management of our school sites, helping to create positive environments where children can learn and thrive.
You will:
- Support the safe and efficient operation of both school sites
- Carry out minor repairs, maintenance and general site upkeep
- Maintain buildings, grounds and equipment to a high standard
- Complete routine inspections and report maintenance issues
- Support contractor visits and planned maintenance programmes
- Ensure health and safety requirements are followed
- Assist with preparing spaces for school events and activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a welcoming school environment
Who You Are
- Has experience in site supervision, caretaking, facilities or premises management
- Understands health and safety, COSHH and risk assessment procedures
- Is confident carrying out practical maintenance tasks and minor repairs
- Is organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Has strong communication skills and enjoys working with colleagues, contractors and visitors
- Is confident using IT systems and maintaining records
- Takes pride in creating safe and welcoming spaces for children
