Gardener

Overview

Residential Management Group (RMG), a market‑leading Property Management Company, is looking for a hands‑on and proactive Gardener to join our onsite team.

35 hours per week – Monday to Friday (8AM until 4PM – On site at our Holborough Lakes development in Snodland (ME6)).

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well‑maintained residential development, helping to create and maintain an attractive and safe environment for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general gardening duties including litter picking, mowing, strimming, weeding, hedge cutting, planting and mulching.
• Ensure all areas of the estate are maintained to a high standard and left clean, tidy and safe at the end of each day.
• Report any health & safety issues, maintenance defects or security concerns to the Estate Manager.
• Support with seasonal tasks such as gritting and waste clearance.
• Ensure shared areas are kept clear of hazards or obstructions, escalating issues where needed.
• Work collaboratively with onsite teams and contractors, ensuring safe working practices are followed.
• Provide a courteous and professional service to residents and visitors at all times.
• Promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring risks are identified, reported and managed appropriately.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or gardening.
• A proactive and reliable approach, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health & safety in a practical environment.
• Professional and approachable manner when dealing with residents and visitors.
• Experience working within a residential or managed estate environment (desirable).
• Knowledge of maintaining high‑end or landscaped developments (desirable).
