Driving Licence Requirements
- Full UK or EU driving licence
- Minimum 12 months driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
- Must be over 18 years old for alcohol deliveries
- Good communication skills are essential for this customer‑facing role
Role Overview
As a Delivery Driver at Ocado Logistics, you will deliver high‑quality goods on time, providing excellent customer service in a variety of weather conditions. Your work will include evenings and weekends, and you will benefit from automated route planning and a pre‑loaded van.
Contract & Hours
Permanent contract. 40 hours per week including paid breaks. You will work any five of the seven working days in 8‑hour shifts, with AM or PM shifts starting as early as 05:30 and ending as late as 12:00 (midnight). Shift rosters are released up to 13 weeks in advance.
Pay Structure
- Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate) – £12.75 per hour
- Evening Premium (from 6pm) – £1.12 per hour
- Sunday Day Premium – £1.28 per hour
- Sunday Evening Premium – £2.51 per hour
- Overtime (Day Shift) – £15.94 per hour
- Overtime (Evening Shift) – £17.06 per hour
Payment is made lunar, that is, every 4 weeks on a monthly schedule.
