Responsibilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the public.
- Personal resilience to handle challenging telephone calls.
- Using the clinical system RiO to input, create letters, and manage electronic workflow inbox.
- Scanning, uploading and copying documents.
- Producing quality documents in a busy environment.
- Good time management and prioritising work.
- Managing workload to meet conflicting demands and deadlines.
- Minute taking and other admin tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent administrative experience.
- Previous admin or customer service experience.
- Relevant experience of working in an office environment.
- Experience of undertaking office procedures with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience within the NHS.
- Experience of using RiO or a patient clinical system.
- Excellent typing skills, including audio‑typing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer packages.
- Ability to produce documents and reports from handwritten and audio transcription.
- Understanding of confidentiality and maintaining it.
- Experience in effective teamwork.
