About The Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented NPI Technologist to support the successful launch of new and existing products across our site. Working closely with the NPD Teams and cross‑functional teams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products move seamlessly from concept through trials to full‑scale production.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about food manufacturing, innovation, and delivering high‑quality products in a fast‑paced environment. Please note this role will require regular travel to other sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of right‑first‑time product launches in line with site and customer expectations
- Coordinate and support product trials, pre‑production and first production runs
- Collaborate with internal teams including NPD, Commercial, Engineering, Quality, and Production to meet critical paths
- Ensure all technical validation, documentation, and compliance requirements are completed (HACCP, shelf life, nutritional data, etc.)
- Assist in managing project timelines and workload within the NPI team
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including yield, efficiency, and cost‑saving opportunities
- Support pre‑launch meetings and ensure all product documentation is accurate and complete
- Maintain and develop technical and legislative knowledge within food manufacturing
- Assist in the creation and management of quality documentation, pack sheets, and product specifications
- Support delivery of KPIs and business performance targets
About You
- A strong communicator with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Confident working cross‑functionally and building relationships at all levels
- Knowledge of food safety, legislation, and labelling requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Full clean driver’s licence
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience within food manufacturing or product development (essential)
- Relevant food‑related qualifications (desirable)
