Responsibilities
You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, using automated technology to pre‑plan your route and pre‑load your van. Working patterns include evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays, ensuring customers receive their groceries at the right time. All of your breaks are paid, and you will receive base pay plus premiums that can increase your average hourly earnings.

Requirements
- Full UK or EU driving licence
- Minimum of 12 months driving experience
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
- Over 18 (to handle alcohol product deliveries)
- Good communication skills
- No previous experience required—just a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Contract Information
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)
Days: Any 5 days out of 7, working 8‑hour shifts. Shift pattern: AM & PM. Start as early as 05:30, finish as late as 12:00 midnight. Shift rota available up to 13 weeks in advance.
Pay Structure
The position is lunar paid—paid every 4 weeks on a monthly schedule.
Hourly Pay Rates
- Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £12.75
- Evening Premium (from 6pm): £1.12
- Sunday Day Premium: £1.28
- Sunday Evening Premium: £2.51
- Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift): £15.94
- Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift): £17.06
