We’re looking for someone who
- Has experience working with children, particularly those with SEND and Key Stage 2 (ELSA training is desirable).
- Brings a positive attitude and a genuine love of school life ensuring all pupils experience belonging, opportunity and hope within our Church school community.
- Has the ability to build positive relationships with children and adults.
- Is friendly, caring, approachable and patient.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Can be a calm and supportive presence.
- Enjoys being around children and is committed to safeguarding.
- Is a proactive team player, open to feedback, learning, reflection and professional growth.
In this role you will
- Provide tailored support to pupils, with your primary focus being in KS2, helping them access learning and achieve their goals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
- Contribute to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people, ensuring their personal care needs are met in line with local and national guidelines.
- Be a caring, approachable adult in the busy heart of school life.
