Apprentice Butcher, Macbeths – Forres
To make it easier for young people in Moray to find opportunities, we have listed a variety of jobs that are currently available.
Working hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Some Saturday working. Location: Forres. Closing date: 15th July 2026.
We’re looking for an Apprentice Butcher to join our team here in Forres. No experience is needed. If you’re reliable, hard‑working, practical and keen to learn, we’ll provide the training.
You’ll Learn a Proper Trade, Including
- Traditional butchery skills
- Knife skills and meat preparation
- Making sausages, burgers and other products
- Preparing customer orders
- Customer service and working as part of a team
At Macbeth’s, we’re proud to work with high-quality Scottish meat, including beef from our own family farm, where cattle are raised on a 100% grass and forage‑fed diet.
The Role
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Some Saturday working
