Handyperson – Part‑time

Location: Hertfordshire (covers Hertfordshire and Essex)

Salary: £15,986 – £17,515 per annum

Hours: 21 hours per week (part time)

Contract Type: 6 month fixed term contract/secondment

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of maintenance tasks in residents’ homes including lock changes, installing window locks, fitting smoke alarms, and replacement of strip lights.
• Provide painting and decorating services.
• Perform gardening duties such as hedge cutting, grass cutting and weeding.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and represent Clarion Housing when dealing with the public.
• Undertake other duties broadly consistent with the level of the post as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Able to travel regularly across Hertfordshire and Essex.
• Basic Criminal Record Check clearance required.
• Eligible to work in the UK and must reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment.
