Job Overview
Deliver animal bedding (bales and loose wood shavings) to farms and poultry sites across the Midlands and up North. Operate and pull trailers, skips, modified trailers, curtain slingers, walking floors, etc. Collect trailers and skips of wood bi‑products from mills and other sites. Accurate completion and handling of administrative paperwork to ensure compliance. Liaise directly with customers and with the Production Manager and Yard/Stores staff to support order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver animal bedding to farms and poultry sites across the Midlands and up North.
- Operate and pull trailers, skips, modified trailers, curtain slingers, walking floors, etc.
- Collect trailers and skips of wood bi‑products from mills and other sites.
- Ensure accurate completion and handling of administrative paperwork to ensure compliance.
- Liaise directly with customers.
- Liaise with Production Manager and Yard/Stores staff to support order fulfilment.
Required Qualifications
- Cat C+E (Class 1) licence and previous experience.
- Current LGV CE CPC and Digi Card.
Desirable
- Experience of driving HGV Class 1 in rural areas.
