This SEMH Teaching Assistant role is ideal for:

The Role

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Help students regulate their emotions, develop positive behaviours and engage confidently in learning.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence and resilience.
  • Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals to support individual learning plans.
  • Assist with behaviour strategies and interventions that enable pupils to achieve their full potential.
