Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and personalised lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will work closely with support staff, therapists, senior leaders, and families to ensure every pupil receives the highest standard of education and care. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND.
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, senior leaders, and families.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Plan and assess to meet individual needs and track progress.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
- Ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Experienced SEN Teachers and ECTs
The school welcomes experienced SEN Teachers who can make an immediate impact. The school is also open to enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) committed to developing their SEN expertise. A Temp-to-Perm pathway is available, with induction support for eligible ECTs.
