Are you an experienced and passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a rewarding part‑time opportunity within a supportive and welcoming primary school?
The Role
This is a 2.5‑day per week position, working:
- Monday – Full Day
- Tuesday – Full Day
- Wednesday – Morning Only
The successful candidate will take on full classroom responsibilities, including:
- Delivering engaging and creative KS1 lessons
- Planning, preparation and assessment
- Monitoring pupil progress and attainment
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff
Please note: The school is seeking an experienced practitioner and is therefore unable to consider ECT applications for this role.

The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
- Has a strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Is enthusiastic, creative and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils
- Can quickly build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
