What You’ll Do
The Service department is vital to our success. As an Autocare Technician/Mechanic apprentice, you will help deliver right‑first‑time fixes and excellent customer service, delighting customers and encouraging loyalty. Your daily duties include:
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
- Testing parts and systems to ensure correct working
- Following checklists to verify all critical vehicle components are examined
- Carrying out bumper‑to‑bumper overviews, service and inspection
- Maintaining electronic systems, including on‑board entertainment systems
- Recording accurate, legible paperwork for customers and the centre’s records
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
You will work with a wide range of products including traditional, hybrid and electronic engines, from heritage vehicles to leading‑edge modern technology, providing varied technical training that builds your skills.

Ideal candidates have some experience in the motor industry, either with Level1 formal training or working in a similar organisation, and a passion for the industry and our brand. A Level1 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is desirable.

Upon completion, you will continue your learning journey and can drive your career forward. Many apprentices have become team leaders and managers within the retail network.
