Salary range: D4-D6, £25,185-£25,989FTE

Actual Salary: £14,975 – £15,453 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Part-time

Working hours: 26.25 hours per week, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.55am to 12.15pm plus 1.15pm to 3.10pm

Job Summary

We are seeking to appoint a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team at Queen’s Crescent School. The successful candidate will support pupils in accessing learning across the curriculum, helping to ensure they are fully engaged in classroom activities and able to make good progress.

Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team, you will provide high-quality support tailored to the needs of individuals and groups of pupils. This will include helping to deliver planned learning activities, reinforcing key skills, and supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

You will play an important role in promoting independence, confidence, and a positive attitude to learning. The role may also involve supporting pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND, and assisting with personal care or other specific requirements where necessary.

The successful candidate will be patient, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships with children, contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
