Electrical Trainer (Full Training Provided)

Location: Swindon. Salary: £40,000 – £45,000. Working hours: Monday to Friday.

About the Role

You will deliver a mix of practical and classroom-based training, providing instruction, demonstrations and assessments across a range of electrical safety and installation courses. Core delivery will focus on low‑voltage electrical systems, safe working practices and inspection & testing, with structured development into renewable technologies and specialist electrical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based electrical training.
• Instruct and assess delegates on low‑voltage electrical systems and safe working practices.
• Deliver demonstrations and technical workshops.
• Receive full trainer training and structured professional development.
• Enjoy a Monday‑to‑Friday role with excellent work‑life balance.
• Opportunity to develop into renewable energy training (EV, Solar PV & battery storage).

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong background in industrial or commercial electrical engineering.
• Experience working on low‑voltage electrical systems.
• Ideally qualified and/or experienced in: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2391), PAT testing and safe isolation procedures.
• Desirable experience or qualifications in: electric vehicle charging, solar PV and EESS battery storage systems.
• Looking to move into a long‑term training and education role.
• Previous training experience beneficial but not essential.
