Empowering Outreach Support Worker for Independent Living

Bedspace in Carlisle is seeking a part-time support worker to assist care leavers, families and adults, developing independent living skills and supporting education or employment. The role is 16 hours per week (Monday–Friday 9:00–5:00) with a private vehicle insured for business use.

You will be responsible for medication reminders, benefits applications, accompanying to appointments and providing emotional support while liaising with Social Workers, Healthcare practitioners and other agencies.
