Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Nurse

Full‑time, long‑term post at an outstanding primary school in the London Borough of Redbridge, starting September 2026 with permanent contract from July 2027.

Location: Redbridge, London.

Contract: Full time – Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (term time only).

Salary: £92‑£120 per day.

Teacher training available September 2027.

Your Role

• Monday to Friday (term time only)
• Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Working across nursery and reception
• Carrying out phonics, spelling, reading and writing sessions
• Assisting with general classroom duties
• Supporting mild SEN when needed
• Providing 1:1 and group booster sessions

Ideal Candidate

• Hold a Level 2 or 3 CACHE qualification in childcare
• Hold a Level 6 qualification or degree in childcare or education
• Have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Have school‑based experience ideally or experience within private nurseries
• Have enthusiasm about working in EYFS and with children
• Work well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Eligible to work in the UK
