A family are looking for a nanny to join them from September to care for their boy, who will be 15 months old at the start of the role.
Their little boy is a happy and curious toddler who attends a variety of baby classes throughout the week and regular trips to the park. The family are looking for a nanny who will continue to nurture his confidence, curiosity and development through engaging play, outings and a fun, stimulating routine.
For the first two months, the role will primarily be shared care alongside Mum. From November, Mum returns to work part-time; the position will naturally become a mixture of shared care and sole charge.
The family are hoping to find someone who is kind, nurturing and dependable, with a genuine passion for supporting young children’s wellbeing and development. They would love a nanny who is organised and proactive when planning activities, communicates well, enjoys working collaboratively with Mum during shared care, and is equally confident when caring for their son independently. They have been working with a Norlander temporarily, and value the training, experience and professionalism.
The nanny’s primary focus will be supporting the little boy, maintaining his daily routine with flexibility around naps, meals and activities, planning engaging age-appropriate play, reading together, arts and crafts, educational games, and enjoying outings to local parks, libraries, museums, playgrounds and playgroups. Alongside providing attentive care, the nanny will support the daily tasks relating to the little boy, including preparing healthy meals, keeping his nursery and play areas clean and organised, and staying on top of his laundry and bedding.
For the right nanny, the family can also offer a spacious, recently refurbished bedroom with its own en suite bathroom, providing excellent accommodation within their home.
