About the role
n
We’re looking for an analytically-minded Credit & Commercial Senior Analyst to work our commercial & pricing strategy in our motor finance team (Autolend). This role is suitable for someone who loves using strong analytics to optimise our business, improve funnel performance while still delivering a good portfolio return.
n
You’ll be entrusted with thought leadership on our commercial strategy, and have a large remit to set up and optimise our pricing to help achieve our objectives.
n
You'll be part of a collaborative, ambitious organisation where ideas are encouraged and bureaucracy is minimal. Your work will have a tangible impact, driving strategic decisions and enhancing our portfolio performance.

Your core responsibilities include:

- n Optimising our pricing strategy, how much to lend and at what interest rate.
- n Improving our conversion funnel, responding to qualitative feedback as well as data insights.
- n Building a product that our customers and partners love.

How you'll impact those objectives

- n
- n Define our multi channel pricing & commercial strategy and continuously optimise it to grow the business while maintaining strong returns
- n Discover insights from data using tools like Python and SQL to find opportunities and optimise our strategy
- n Seek out novel strategies and commercial approaches we can take advantage of
- n Obsess over competitor trends and our performance through our diverse acquisition channels, responding quickly to changes in the market
- n Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data, and our external partners to improve funnel performance
- n Monitor and assess the success of implemented strategies and continuously identify areas for improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

- n
- n Daily coding experience, with proficiency in Python and SQL ideally
- n Proven experience in credit risk or commercial strategy roles, ideally within consumer lending.
- n A strategic mindset and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable decisions.
- n A focus on delivering results that align with both commercial and customer needs.
- n A collaborative, open approach and a willingness to challenge your own assumptions
- n Experience working in marketing / growth roles is a plus, but not required!
