Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and dependable Class 2 Driver to join our team on day shifts. This role offers consistent work, early starts, and no nights out. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a professional Class 2 Driver to carry out general haulage deliveries and collections using curtain-sided HGV Class 2 vehicles. The role typically involves 2–3 drops or collections per day, delivering a variety of goods to commercial customers.This is a day shift position with regular 7:00am starts and drivers are usually back the same day with no overnight stays required. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle for deliveries and collections.Complete 2–3 drops/collections per shift efficiently and on time.Secure and check loads correctly before departure.Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.Ensure all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately.Follow all road transport regulations and company procedures.Provide a professional and courteous service to customers. Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations.Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.Good communication skills and customer service approach.
