AECOM is currently seeking a talented Senior Bridge Inspector to support our Bridges & Structures team in Birmingham. This opportunity will involve a combination of remote work, office presence and field work, performing hands-on inspection of bridge structures throughout the United Kingdom. Typically this includes: Local AuthorityNetwork RailNational Highway Structural Inspection work,Involvement in different types of structures where specialist access skills are required. This important role offers participation in a variety of challenging projects and a dynamic work environment due to the number, type and size of bridges that make up the vast portfolio of the experienced bridge group this engineer will be joining. Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Here’s what we’re looking for: BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or Structural EngineeringExperience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationLantra BICS accreditation beneficialConfined Space Training beneficialCommitment to working a minimum of 2 days per week in our Birmingham Office.Strong technical skills in bridge engineering and a keen commitment to quality with a ‘right first time’ approach to your own work.Experience in the production of drawings, risk assessments and reporting.
