Head of Business Development Private Client – senior level strategic role with client facing element in ambitious law firm.

The business development and marketing team of this ambitious national law firm is being given a new lease of life with greater investment and a more sophisticated approach.

The firm’s private client capability offers not only services to high net worth individuals but is also looking to develop its mid‑market capabilities targeting professionals and business owners. Specifically the role will involve:

  • Working with the partners to develop the business development strategy for the private client group;
  • Running the firm’s intermediaries and referrers programme.
  • Developing relationships with both existing intermediaries and referrers and networking/proactive outreach to new ones;
  • Identifying opportunities in the market and developing a business development pipeline through to conversion;
  • Working with the corporate and commercial groups to cross‑sell;
  • Working with the marketing team to ensure that marketing activity and campaigns generate leads;
  • ROI and measurement;
  • Leading and developing a high performing team.

Note that this role can be based in London, Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds.

You will have a significant experience in a business development and leadership role as well as being a private client specialist with a strong understanding of the private wealth intermediaries market. Most importantly, you will have contacts within private wealth that you can exploit together with the partners.
