Senior Product Manager, Liability Management

Support the Head of Liquidity and Investment Solutions by driving operational efficiency and building effective liability‑management processes to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Segment, Treasury, Finance) on liability optimisation strategies.
• Own reporting and analytics to drive deposit‑growth conversations and focus.
• Enhance monthly deposit and account forecasting and the annual planning cycle process with Finance.
• Deliver liability‑management inputs, insights, updates and responses to senior management.
• Partner with Treasury to assure optimal hedging and Fund Transfer Pricing processes.
• Work as an integral member of the Liquidity team, using an agile approach to achieve collective objectives in a dynamic environment.
• Promote diversity and inclusion in line with HSBC’s brand values.
• Apply strong analytical skills to create concise, impactful analysis tailored to a senior audience.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the bank.
• Meet and exceed performance targets while managing multiple deliverables in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Treasury, Finance, and/or Product Management.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to advise internal stakeholders.
• Initiative‑taking mindset and proven history of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Ability to navigate a large organisation and partner with stakeholders to accomplish goals.
