Overview
My client, a privately owned software house based in Nottingham, is looking for an experienced and intuitive Data Architect to join their team. The role will involve supporting existing systems and understanding the implications of a Microservice architecture on their data. You will work closely with DBA teams and contribute to data governance and architecture principles.
Key Responsibilities
• Support existing database systems and ensure high availability and performance.
• Work with architectural teams to integrate data solutions within a micro‑service environment.
• Lead and mentor DBA teams to deliver best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in Data Governance
- Strong knowledge of Data Architecture principles
- Experience with Big Data technologies
- Proficient in SQL and Oracle
- Experience leading DBA teams
