Overview
A market leader in its field is undergoing a large technical transformation and expansion and is looking to increase its IT/Cyber security presence by employing an Information Security Manager/Engineer to upgrade, implement, and enhance key systems throughout the business. This role is hands‑on, managing the environment rather than a team, reporting to the Head of I&O and working closely with senior management.
Key Duties
- Knowledge of Information Security management, including implementing IS best practices
- Understanding of ISO 27001 standards and their practical application
- Understanding of tools and technologies available to protect and monitor IS
- Knowledge of data protection, GDPR, information governance policies and good practice
- Involvement in development and management of information security metrics
- Implementation of ISO 27001 security standards
- Delivery of information security training and awareness
Benefits
