International Software House is looking for an excellent Data Architect / Information Architect with experience of leading a team of DBAs. You will work closely with development teams and colleagues in developing the architecture of their software products.

We need a Data Architect who has a strong commercial background and has progressed from SQL DBA to Architect, with an understanding of information systems and data life‑cycle management best practices, methodologies and SDLC.

Key skills required: data modelling, data policies development, data warehousing, SQL development & administration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a data strategy and associated policies.
  • Responsible for data governance, data architecture principles and standards.
  • Identify improvements in our data systems.
  • Participate in selecting the best systems for data storage, retrieval and management.
  • Lead the DBA team.
  • Project management.

The successful Data Architect will work for a prestigious software house with an impressive history and exciting future, on cutting‑edge software projects (enterprise level and mobile) for an expanding, award‑winning company.

As a Data Architect, you will build key relationships between business functions and ensure technology requirements are identified and met. The role includes delivery of activities following an agile way of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
