Overview

Responsibilities

  • Define RF system and hardware design from initial concept through requirements, architecture, part selection, detailed design, analysis, qualification testing, manufacturing and in‑life support.
  • Create block diagrams, detailed schematics, PCB layout and routing, run simulations, and develop design test plans.
  • Work on transmitters, power amplifiers, receivers, LNA, filters, software‑defined radios and down‑converters.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of industry experience in design and analysis of RF electronics and systems.
  • Proficient in RF fundamentals: impedance matching, Smith charts, passive RLC, filter design, linearity, harmonics, noise figure analysis.
  • Proficient in professional simulation tools such as AWR and EDA tools such as PADS.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience with lab instruments such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
  • Proven experience in design, simulation, prototyping and testing of baseband, IF and RF circuits.
  • Expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout for multilayer RF designs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Experience

  • Knowledge of receivers, transmitters, synthesizers, VCOs, low‑noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers and filters.
  • Experience with radio propagation, transceiver architecture, modulation schemes, antenna theory and radio/EMC compliance.
  • Experience with digital signal processing.
