Role Overview

Head of Department – Leads the Computing & Business department, setting a clear purpose and vision, motivating colleagues, and implementing whole‑academy initiatives to meet academic targets.

Responsibilities

• Craft high‑quality, engaging lessons and collaborate with directors to use pre‑created resources.
• Develop inspiring lesson plans that make learning enjoyable and challenging.
• Analyse student progress, use data to tailor instruction and ensure each student reaches potential.
• Create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom culture.
• Build relationships with staff, students, and the wider community.
