WHO ARE WE?
We are supporting a leading financial services organisation as they continue to deliver a major Core Transformation Programme. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Test Data Lead to head up their Quality Engineering Test Data capability, leading a team responsible for delivering secure, compliant and scalable test data solutions across the programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future Test Data strategy while leading a team focused on data masking, synthetic data and test data provisioning using modern tooling.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
As the Test Data Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of four Test Data Engineers, ensuring high-quality test data services are delivered across multiple workstreams.
You will:
- Own the Test Data Strategy, Roadmap and Operating Model.
- Lead the delivery of masked, migrated and synthetic test data solutions.
- Manage and develop a team of Test Data Engineers.
- Oversee Test Data tooling and services, including K2View.
- Drive automation and reusable test data capabilities across Build and End-to-End Testing teams.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, governance and regulatory requirements.
- Manage supplier and third-party delivery relationships.
- Work closely with Environment Management, Engineering, Product and Data teams to ensure test environments are data-ready.
- Monitor service performance, capacity planning, risks and reporting.
- Promote continuous improvement, automation and operational excellence across the Test Data function.
WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…
- Previous leadership experience within Test Data Management.
- Strong knowledge of Test Data Management principles and best practice.
- Experience with data masking, synthetic data creation and test data provisioning.
- Excellent understanding of data privacy, governance and regulatory controls.
- Experience managing suppliers and third-party delivery partners.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience delivering within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Excellent analytical and data management skills.
NICE TO HAVE…
- Experience using K2View.
- Financial Services experience.
- Knowledge of FCA, DORA and GDPR regulations.
- Experience building or implementing synthetic data solutions.
