Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide efficient and effective operational management support to one of the Medicine Directorates covering Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Hematology and Palliative Care services. Working closely with the Clinical Leads and Matron you will ensure that services are responsive, innovative and provided to the highest possible standard. You will also be responsible for the delivery of key service improvement projects, as well as ensuring access targets are met for your directorate.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and effective operational management support to one of the Medicine Directorates covering Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Hematology and Palliative Care services.
- Ensure services are responsive, innovative and provided to the highest possible standard.
- Deliver key service improvement projects.
- Ensure access targets are met for the directorate.
- Work under pressure, self‑motivated and confident, and play an active role in the capacity management function.
Qualifications
- Operational management experience within the NHS.
- Proven track record of contributing to the attainment of national performance targets.
- Experience of managing resources, both staff and financial.
- Team player with a highly focused and innovative approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work under pressure, self‑motivated and confident.
