About The Role

Working Days: Mon – Fri during core office hours. This role operates on contracts on a National model with travel to client sites and meetings when required.

Join our team as a Commercial Finance Business Partner – Government, where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and analysing financial operations within our Public Sector FM Business Unit. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and contribute to strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing management accounts in collaboration with Central Finance and Operations.
  • Delivering timely and accurate financial and non‑financial performance data and analysis.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in line with regional and group deadlines.
  • Conducting performance analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of monthly payment applications, reconciliations, and client returns.

Qualifications

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • High level security clearance required due to the nature of the Client you will be working with.
  • UK driving licence.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial management.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of contractual obligations and internal governance frameworks.
  • Must have experience in other accounting and finance roles and be willing to travel to sites.
