Responsibilities
- Ensure the financial health and success of the company by developing and implementing overall financial strategy
- Manage the finance department and oversee finance colleagues and their performance
- Relationship management of finance stakeholders
- Identify opportunities and implement financial process improvements
- Manage financial risks, ensuring alignment between finance and compliance functions
- Monitor accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and oversight of preparation and filing of financial reports
- Prepare guidance and insight to stakeholders on accounting standards and practices
- Collaborate with other areas of work to support business strategies
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in technical accounting and financial reporting
- Proven experience owning technical accounting processes, including multi‑entity statutory reporting
- FinTech or EMI experience is desirable, with understanding of electronic money regulations and reporting environments
