Overview

We are looking for a mid to senior level Java Developer to join our client’s software development team in Nottingham. The role involves developing new Java software, working both independently and collaboratively, with opportunities for internal promotion.

Responsibilities

• Develop new Java software solutions within a team of developers.
• Work independently and as part of a mixed-level development team.
• Contribute to architecture and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Java SE, JDK 7, and J2EE technologies.
• Experience with Wildfly8, JAX-RS, CDI (Weld), EJB 3, Stateless Session Beans, and JPA.
• Experience in building RESTful web services.
• Experience with JUnit and unit testing.
• Experience with Redmine and version control (Git).
• Sun/Oracle Java certification is desirable.

Benefits

Salary: £28,000-£38,000 per annum. Competitive benefits package.
