Mobile HVAC Engineer – Basingstoke

The role involves servicing, maintaining, and responding to breakdowns across a busy retail portfolio on the South Coast. This permanent position offers a salary between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum, with door‑to‑door travel pay included. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdown of Comfort DX, VRVs, VRFs, splits, multi‑splits and AHUs across the retail portfolio.
• Respond to breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.
• Travel door‑to‑door across the portfolio, typically 1 in 12 call‑outs.

Requirements

• Proven HVAC engineering experience.
• Relevant qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• Comfortable with mobile work and retail environments.

Package and Benefits

• Salary £40,000‑£45,000 basic (depending on experience).
• Door‑to‑door travel pay: £200 standby + £50 per call, plus overtime pay (x1.5 Mon‑Sat, x2 Sun and bank holidays).
• 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
