Integration Engineer

Salary: £65,000 – 105,000 per year

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Integrations Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure integration services, including APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid
• Experience with C# and/or Node.js
• Strong API knowledge, including REST, JSON, OpenAPI, and OAuth 2.0
• Experience with Key Vault, Managed Identity, and Application Insights
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
• Strong understanding of monitoring, error handling, and integration best practices
• Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support integrations using Azure services
• Develop APIs and event‑driven workflows
• Build and maintain Function Apps, Logic Apps, and messaging solutions
• Support migration from legacy integration platforms to Azure
• Monitor production integrations and resolve issues
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Participate in code reviews and Agile delivery activities
• Produce clear technical documentation

We are supporting a large‑scale cloud and data transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Integrations Engineer to help build and support a modern Azure integration environment. This is a 6‑month outside IR35 contract based in Manchester on a hybrid working model with 3 days onsite per week. We offer a competitive day rate and the opportunity to work on an important transformation initiative within a modern Azure integration landscape.
