FPGA Firmware Engineer (VHDL) – Embedded SoC

Leonardo UK is seeking an FPGA Firmware Engineer to help develop embedded VHDL firmware for aircraft sensor and communication systems. You will work across projects from concept to early life production, using high-speed FPGAs and SoCs.

Based in Southampton or Bristol, the role sits in the Airborne Communications product group within Integrated Sensing & Protection, with cross-functional collaboration and a governance framework for design reviews. A BPSS-based security screening applies.
