Our client, a well‑established and highly regarded law firm, is seeking an ambitious Commercial Litigation Solicitor (3–6 years’ PQE) to join its growing Litigation team.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will play a key role within a busy Commercial Litigation team, managing their own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on complex and high‑value disputes. The role offers a broad range of commercial litigation work, including:
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Contentious insolvency matters
- General commercial litigation
In addition to fee‑earning responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to become involved in business development initiatives, contribute legal articles and thought leadership content, and help strengthen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of commercial litigation matters with appropriate supervision where required.
- Advising clients on a wide range of commercial disputes and delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice.
- Assisting senior members of the team on complex, high‑value litigation.
- Preparing court documents and progressing matters through the litigation process.
- Attending Joint Settlement Meetings (JSMs), mediations and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
- Producing legal updates and articles to support the firm’s marketing and business development activities.
- Participating in networking and business development opportunities.
About You
To be considered, you will be:
- A qualified Solicitor with between 3 and 6 years’ post‑qualification experience in Commercial Litigation.
- Experienced in managing your own caseload of commercial disputes.
- Technically strong, with excellent analytical and drafting skills.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
- A confident communicator with excellent client relationship management skills.
- Proactive, organised and keen to contribute to the continued growth of the team.
- Interested in developing your profile through networking and business development activities.
