Job Title and Compensation
Private Client Solicitor with 5‑8 PQE, based in York, salaried up to £70,000 (DOE).
THE ROLE
Manage a varied caseload of private client matters with a particular emphasis on tax and trusts. Advise clients on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning and trust administration. Provide clear, practical advice, build long‑term relationships and deliver high standards of client care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
THE CANDIDATE
Solicitor with 5‑8 years PQE, strong background in private client work and expertise in tax and trusts. Experience advising on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning and trust matters, confident managing own caseload independently. STEP qualification highly desirable; candidates working toward or with equivalent experience considered. Excellent technical ability, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to client service.
