We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious General Sales Manager to lead the sales operation at our Bumpers Farm dealership. As a leading Kia retailer, we’re proud to represent one of the UK’s fastest-growing automotive brands while offering a wide selection of approved used vehicles.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven automotive sales leader, working closely with our Used Car Sales Manager to drive performance, develop the team, maximise profitability, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

As General Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the dealership’s sales function, ensuring the department operates efficiently and meets its targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, motivating, and developing the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed targets
  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the sales department, ensuring high standards of customer service at every stage of the buying journey
  • Driving new and used vehicle sales, finance, and value-added product performance
  • Monitoring KPIs, analysing performance, and implementing strategies to maximise profitability through effective stock management and sales strategies
  • Coaching and mentoring the team through regular one-to-ones
  • Working closely with other departments in the business to align activities and support dealership growth
  • Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and manufacturer standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Sales Manager role within the automotive industry
  • A proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion to deliver outstanding service
  • Full UK driving licence & eligibility to work in the UK
