Senior Control Systems Engineer
Location: Billingham or Worksop
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week – Office based
Salary range: From £55,000 (dependent on experience)

What You’ll Do
- Actively participating in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish.
- Fostering great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Producing design and test documentation.
- Developing PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA software, including platforms such as Siemens PCS 7 and Rockwell PlantPAx.
- Performing testing with customers.
- Carrying out on-site commissioning.
- Compiling training manuals and running customer training sessions.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include
- A strong understanding and experience with major brands of PLC, DCS and SCADA/HMI platforms, including Siemens PCS 7 and PlantPAx, with an appetite to learn new technologies.
- Experience writing software and working with customers to deliver projects.
- Good understanding of setting up, commissioning, and fault finding of industrial networks (Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) preferred, but not essential.
- Experience working in an engineering environment.
- An appetite to be the lead engineer on projects and learn new technologies when required.
