Technical Consultant – PKI – Cyber Security

Salary: £38,500 – 67,500 per year

Requirements

• Ideally degree-educated with strong IT / CIS foundations or equivalent experience
• Experience delivering PKI and security solutions within a systems integrator or software services consultancy
• End-user experience is also of interest
• Strong problem-solving skills across applications, networks, and operating systems
• Confident, customer-focused, and comfortable working in high-pressure environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience or interest in IAM, PKI, MFA, smart cards, testing, and cyber security or telecoms environments
• Desirable: Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and networking knowledge

Responsibilities

• Capture customer requirements and design robust technical solutions
• Install and configure software security solutions
• Deliver training on enterprise software platforms
• Lead acceptance testing, commissioning, and go-live support
• Develop into a subject matter expert across our PKI security software products and services
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders
• Work closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, and fellow Consultants to deploy complex, enterprise-grade security solutions
• Travel to customer sites as required, around 20% of the time
