Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer: Designing Precision Optics

Plessey Semiconductors Ltd in Oxford is seeking a highly motivated Opto-Mechanical Engineer to join our Photonics Systems engineering team. You will design, develop, analyze and qualify precision optomechanical systems used in optical interconnects and photonic devices.

You will create 3D CAD models, define tight tolerances, perform analyses (FEA, thermal, vibration), support prototypes and qualification, and drive manufacturing-friendly designs for both low- and high-volume production.
