Role Overview
We lead and implement Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS) solutions. We oversee requirements definition, design, and gap analysis for planning models and driver‑based calculations. We guide application configuration, including forms, dashboards, business rules, and workflows, and provide functional support for technical activities such as data integration, mapping, and automations. We facilitate solution validation workshops with key business stakeholders and support testing, training delivery, post‑go‑live support, and related functional implementation guidance. We manage client relationships, expectations, design workshops, training, and quarterly patch updates, providing status and issue reports to the project manager or client on a regular basis.
We lead flagship Oracle PBCS implementations end‑to‑end, from requirements gathering through build, integration, testing, and post‑go‑live support, working closely with finance teams on driver‑based planning, workforce and CapEx planning, management reporting, and forecast cycles. We use Smart View, Data Management, Groovy rules, and EPM Automate to build forms, dashboards, and business rules, and we manage client relationships, expectations, design workshops, training, and quarterly patch updates.
Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service implementations end-to-end.
- Oversee requirements definition, design, and gap analysis for planning models and driver-based calculations.
- Lead application configuration, including forms, dashboards, business rules, and workflows.
- Drive functional support for data integration, mapping, and automation.
- Facilitate solution validation workshops with key stakeholders.
- Support testing, training delivery, post-go-live support, and related functional implementation guidance.
- Manage client relationships, expectations, design workshops, training, and quarterly patch updates.
- Provide status and issue reports to the project manager or client on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two full-lifecycle planning projects.
- Hands‑on expertise in model design, form creation, calculations, allocation logic, Smart View, and Data Management.
- Proven ability to design integrated planning solutions that connect to source ERP data and other EPM modules.
- Strong communication skills to build trust with finance stakeholders, run workshops, and produce clear documentation.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, able to manage multiple planning workstreams in a dynamic cloud environment.
- Experience with Workforce, CapEx, Projects, or Strategic Modelling, REST APIs, Groovy scripting, or Hyperion Planning to EPM Cloud migration.
- Experience in Oracle Planning Cloud, calculation scripts, dashboards, reports, EPM Automate, Finance FP&A, quarterly updates, and patch testing.
- Accountancy qualification or financial background desirable.
- Must be eligible for SC clearance; candidates must have lived in the UK for the last 2 years.
