Overview
An international company is looking to recruit a new Senior Software Tester to join their software development team. The role involves developing and improving current testing procedures and methods, utilizing both manual and automated testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve testing procedures and methods.
- Utilize manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Work closely with software engineers to ensure the highest standard of software quality through systematic testing of enhancements and bug fixes at the earliest possible stage.
- Define testing approach.
- Modify test cases.
- Execute test scripts.
- Gather, report and monitor test metrics and defect analysis.
- Conduct regression and performance testing.
Qualifications
- ISTQB or ISEB qualified.
- Experience as a Senior Software Tester.
- Proficiency in manual testing.
- Experience in automated testing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum with pension, 25 days holidays and bonus.
